August 10th & 11th
Here is a schedule of events:
Wednesday, August 10th:
Day at Temple Square
8:00 am - Meet at carpool to Temple Square
9:00 am - Welcome Orientation
9:30 am - Called to Serve Program
11:00 am - Rooftop Gardens and Auditorium Tour
12:30 pm - Beehive House Tour
1:15 pm - Lunch at Lion House Pantry
2:15 pm - Desert Book Scavenger Hunt
3:00 pm - Cooking Class at Joseph Smith Memorial Building
4:00 pm - Family Search
5:00 pm - Church History Museum Tour
6:30 pm - Dinner at Joseph Smith Memorial Building
7:30 pm - Guest Speaker
8:30 pm - Leave Temple Square and return home
Thursday, August 11th:
Meet in the morning - Review previous day at Temple Square
Service Project
Lunch - bring a sack lunch from home
Water Activity (snacks and drinks will be provided)
Return home in early evening
What to Wear?
Wednesday: Dress and grooming should be modest, tasteful, and appropriate. You do not need to wear Sunday dress. Please follow the For The Strength of Youth Pamphlet.
Thursday: Dress and grooming should be modest, tasteful, and appropriate. You do not need to wear Sunday dress. Bring a modest swimsuit for the water activity. Please follow the For The Strength of Youth Pamphlet.
What to Bring?
Wednesday: Just yourself
Thursday: Sack lunch, swimsuit, towel

We are so excited for Youth Conference this week and know that it is going to be a great experience for everyone!
ReplyDeleteThere are just a few things that have changed with the schedule that you need to be aware of. First, we are meeting at 7:00 am on Wednesday to head up to Temple Square. Second, you do not need to bring a sack lunch on Thursday. Lunch will be provided once we get up to the resevoir before jet skiing!
Please let one of the leaders know if you have any questions. If not, we will see your smiling faces bring and early Wednesday morning!:)
